Misty-Fit Launches Bullying Awareness Campaign

R'n'B star Misty-Fit is fronting a new campaign to raise awareness about the problems faced by Britain's school bullies.
The 22 year old singer spoke out about her own experiences of bullying at the recent Showbiz Bullying Awards in London, presented by Jonathan Ross.

Misty - Feels for bullies

"It's tough being a bully," she told us. "All them funny names you have to think up to call people who are different or weaker than you. Plus you always get in loads of trouble when some little wimp grasses you up to a teacher. I'm reaching out to them bully kids and saying - 'Hey, I know what you're going through. I understand.'"
When asked if it wasn't better to campaign on behalf of the victims of bullying rather than the perpetrators, Misty-Fit said, "What the hell for? They're losers."
If you are a bully and would like a factsheet outlining the range of support and advice available, please write to: National Bullying Alliance, PO Box 1013, Windlebury Sneath, HANTS, HA4 2FB. Or just get some little squirt to do it for you.
